Donna was born in New Jersey, and before you could blink had moved to Northern VA, where she spent most of her childhood. As a teen, her family moved to Brussels, Belgium where she met and fell in love with her future husband, Michael. She graduated with a BA in Psychology and Early Childhood Development from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, and after graduation she and Michael moved to NW Ohio. As an Air Force family, they have lived in 3 other cities before finally coming to Colorado Springs and together are raising their energetic and precocious 3 children. She enjoys spending time at home with her whole family around, lights up in social gatherings, especially around the holidays, and dreams of traveling the world with Michael after the kids are grown.

Most daring thing ever done: ok - I am now realizing, I am a very BORING person who does NOT enjoy thrill seeking. Done a lot of fun stuff in my life - rode a camel, took a gondola in Venice, visited the Parthenon in Athens, braved 15deg below zero weather to see Moscow, proposed to Michael 3 times, but nothing that would constitute "daring". Childbirth??? Probably not with an epidural, huh?

Best childhood memory: There are SO many to choose from - creating a plan w/ my brother to wake up and "catch" Santa in the act, only to get caught by DAD! Napping in the sun, using our Siberian Husky, Tasha as a pillow. Being with my VERY Italian family in up-state NY. Strawberry picking with my mom (now my best friend). Experiencing Europe at a very influencial age.
